The best anchovies since 1896. When the first Sicilians specialized in salted anchovies in the ports of the Cantabrian frame at the end of the 19th century, there was already a Sanfilippo among them. Since that pioneer, without interruption, four generations have continued that valuable work, taking care of the manufacture of this product. The processing is 100 percent traditional and artisanal. For the production of fillets in oil, only large size salted anchovies are used, bar “0,” cured 2 years in tins, cleaned and packaged one by one with the utmost care and attention by specialized personnel.
