Iberian cured meats from Bellota Joselito
Joselito selects the purest genetic traits and breeds its own animals, which in turn pass strict quality selection. Adapted for pasture exploitation, the Iberian pig grows freely, feeding on acorns from oaks, holm oaks and cork trees. This breed is characterized by a dark skin and a black hoof, and by a physiological peculiarity that produces fat infiltrations in its muscles, conferring incomparable succulence, aroma and flavor. The animal is slaughtered at 18 months of age, when its weight hovers around 160 kg.
